The National Council for Crime Prevention is a crime prevention expert and cooperation agency, established in the Ministry of Justice, Finland. The goal of the Council is to decrease the harm caused by crime and to increase security.

The activities of the Council focus on the implementation of the National Crime Prevention Program, adopted by the Council of State in 1999, and on the National Program for Reducing Violence, adopted in 2006.
