The Cooperation Network around the Juvenile Offenders, Tallinn, Estonia 2005
Conference themes
The conference will be organized by the Estonian Ministry of Justice in cooperation with the Finnish Crime Prevention Council. The conference will address the topic of the cooperation network around the juvenile offenders.
Objectives of the conference
- create the common understanding of the essence and necessity of the cooperation network around juvenile offenders;
- exchange of information and best practice;
- facilitate cooperation among the professionals and foster the establishment of cooperation networks.
The first part of the day will focus on theoretical approach concerning the cooperation network and the overview from the researchers will be presented. The second part of the day will focus more on the best practice, the cases of effective cooperation networks will be introduced. The speakers from Estonia, Finland, Sweden and UK will introduce and share their experiences during the conference.
The conference brings together the professionals from Estonian and Finnish juvenile justice system (police, prosecutor office, courts, and probation service), child protection services, social services, educators, policy makers and researchers.
