The National Council for Crime Prevention has assisted the Ministry in these functions. The follow-up report was prepared by the Council and released over to the Ministry on the 24th January, 2003. Finland will join the ECPA-competition The National Council for Crime Prevention has decided that Finland will be participating in the European Crime Prevention Awards (ECPA) competition. Chat Safely -campaign (18 Dec 2001) The National Council for Crime Prevention, the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare and the Association of Home and School in Finland have initiated a poster campaign called "Chat safely", in December 2001. The purpose of the campaign is to protect children and juveniles from dangers associated with chatting through the internet.
